Join in the fun as we begin our 2020 children's choir season! As you may have guessed, things will be done differently this year. However, the impact our children's choir can have on our congregation, and the lesson of meaningfully and intentionally serving our church is still important and strong! COVID can't keep us from praising our gracious Lord through song! So, we hope you be part of our choir family as we sing through this year together. We can't tell you what our full year will look like, but we can give you an outline for these months leading up to Christmas. Expect the following:

• Children's Choir will sing in one of the Sunday services (either 8:30 or 11:00) once a month, toward the end of the month. Our first scheduled singing will be September 27th at the 11:00 worship service.

• We will provide you with either a video or audio link of each anthem, to help your chorister learn the music, and give any extra needed teaching remotely, as may be requested by individuals or as we deem necessary.

• We will provide a weekly music puzzle or activity for your chorister to complete at home. Answers to puzzles will be included in the next week's email.

• We are planning several Music Mission Trips to sing for some of our home-bound church members. This would involve traveling to a church member's home, singing a few songs for them, and ending with Go My Children.

• Plans for Christmas are still in the making. Be on the lookout for more information as it develops.

Singing for the glory of God and musically serving as a worship leader is a worthy and important part of our church. We hope you and your chorister will make the commitment today to be a part of children's choir this year!
