Civil Rights Walking Tour | Desegregation Tour

The Children’s Ministry Team is offering 2 Civil Rights Walking Tours for kids who are about to start 4th - 6th grade! These activities will combine fun, food, history, and discipleship. On Tuesday, August 25, from 4:30-7:45 pm the Tour will focus on the 1950’s and 1960’s in Nashville, which is a time when college students, ministers, and other activists set out to right the wrongs of our nation. By using nonviolent ways, they challenged and reformed racial segregation in Nashville through peaceful protests and by taking a seat at local lunch counters.
