Civil Rights Walking Tour | Women's Suffrage

The Children’s Ministry Team is offering 2 Civil Rights Walking Tours for kids who are about to start 4th - 6th grade! These activities will combine fun, food, history, and discipleship. On Tuesday, August 11, from 4:30-7:45 pm the Tour will focus on women’s suffrage, a decades-long fight to win the right of women to vote in elections. It took nearly 100 years to win that right - on August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified. On August 18, 2020, we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote!
